summy of interview

During the interview, I got many great feedbacks from other 3 other people.I showed them what I did so far to them and asked them how they feel like. They both said they like my project.

They said 2d animation with stop motion is a very creative great idea. And of course they gave me some advises to me to improve.

They like the camera shoot and music effect, it feels relax and interesting. The character is simple and cute. The stop motion scene is nice, the music I choose is good and match the film.

However, nothing is prefect. There’s lot of things that I need to improve.

Youngdong said I should take more photo and put together so the film looks smoother. And I said is was because in the premiere one photo displays so long, so young dong told me how to change the time pre frame in premiere, and I import the photos again, now it looks much better and smoother.

Also they say I need more animation in the film. But I just trying to export the flash with no background in premiere for testing. it is hard to find the way to export a transparency background GIF photo or flash. So I just try a little bit animation. It doesn’t show much in the beta version, so it may get better and more detail later on.

And their advises bring me a idea, I may change the way about combining 2d animation with stop motion film. Before I just put the flash on the top of the stop motion film. But now I may separate these two things and find a way to transfer between these two things.

Another thing is that the photo’s style is totally different than the animation style, especially when the animation shows up on the film. So they said maybe I should edit the photo in photoshop. But there are 580 pictures. It will take me a long time to fix them well. That’s another reason for me to think about how to manage the 2d animation and the stop motion film again.

Beside that, all things are going well. And I will finish the animation and film editing as soon as possible.

finally! i know how to export the flash with no background.....
hard to find the way.
most of them are saying that edit when put on the web..
now i know how to change the stage colour become transparency in flash!!!!

change color that alpha is 0, then add swatch.
and change the stage color to that new swatch.

also i change all the image size, coz there format are so big..
then i will draw the smoke appear before the cow show up..

and i have to change the video size .

and try to make the walk cycle in flash.
coz i m not really good at drawing...i have to test that first.




and also i finish most of the shooting last week.
i took the pics and video as well. just in case the pic is not enough for my work.
i shoot the "world square" part at night,
because in this part, in my storyboard, the scene would become a stage of fashion show, and people walk around would become the models...
the night lighting fits the storyboard.

580 photos...gosh..
but the finial film may only have few mins....

Today i m going to take the camera and go out for shooting.

i must finish the shooting first to continue my project.

today is a sunny day.

wish to finish the shooting today.

but at least, i try to finish shooting 2 location.

dream in the eyes

concept statement.

what would people see or think of the world,
have they ever had a dream in their mind about what kink of world should be?

when the tram pass through, i always think that a sea world would show up when the tram pass through.

that's kind of the imagination, and i would like to show it in flash.

so it would be a stop motion clip with flash. the real world i would use stop motion clip to show, and the image world i would use flash to work on this.

Inspiration

i really like the that artist Ben Heine's work. he took a pic and redraw the scene.
i especially like the one with a UFO on that. it's fun.
so i just think that if i can make a stop motion clip and in some scene i redraw that and also add some of my idea on it, make it fun.
